Invite-only beta
Joining the list does not guarantee an invitation, membership or gathering place. TestFlight access may be changed, paused or withdrawn while Banns is tested. Beta features can be incomplete and service availability is not guaranteed.
Adults only
You must be at least 18 years old. An invitation or sign-in does not grant community access until hosted age assurance confirms that you are over 18. Do not use another person’s identity, image or document.
Membership
Membership is offered through Apple as a monthly or annual auto-renewable subscription. Apple shows the final price and renewal terms before purchase. You can manage or cancel through your Apple account. Restoring a valid purchase restores the corresponding Banns entitlement.
Gatherings
A member suggestion is not a published gathering and does not make the member a host. Banns Operations chooses and verifies the venue, capacity, accessibility, price, arrival plan and safeguarding arrangements before publication. Exact venue details are released only after a place is confirmed. Any venue or food payment is made directly to the relevant venue and remains between you and that venue.
Conduct and safety
Members must act honestly, respectfully and lawfully. Banns can block, suspend or close access where reasonably necessary for safety or misuse. Material safety decisions receive human review and an appropriate challenge route.
Account deletion
You can initiate deletion inside the app. Access ends immediately. Banns deletes account data according to its retention schedule, except where a limited record must be retained for legal, fraud-prevention or safeguarding reasons.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photographs, profile text and messages you provide. You grant Banns a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, display and moderate that content solely to operate the service for you. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for the limited records described under Account deletion. You must only upload content you have the right to share.
Our content
The Banns name, logo, software and written material belong to AspireVerse Ltd or its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers those rights to you.
Copyright complaints
If you believe content on Banns infringes your copyright, email hello@aspireverse.co.uk identifying the content, your rights in it and your contact details. Banns reviews reports and removes infringing material.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
