Is Banns operated by the Catholic Church?
No. Banns is operated by AspireVerse Ltd. Parish information is optional and private, and a church is never described as a partner without a documented agreement.
Who runs the gatherings?
Banns Operations plans the first London lunches and provides a non-participating host. Members may suggest ideas, but suggesting an idea does not make somebody a host.
When do I pay?
Only after Banns accepts your first booking and can hold a place for you. Joining early access and creating a profile are free.
When are photographs shown?
Only after Banns confirms that you and another member attended the same gathering.
What if no compatible table is available?
You stay on the London list without being charged. Banns will contact you when a suitable place becomes available.
Can I help with future gatherings?
After confirming early access, you can register interest in future paid gathering-steward roles. It is not a volunteer commitment or job offer.
What happens outside London?
You can join the city waitlist. Banns will use confirmed demand to decide where to open next.
Is Banns live in the App Store?
Not yet. This is early access for an invite-only iOS beta delivered through TestFlight.
